The two european ICT distributors ALSO and Actebis have combined their business at the beginning of 2011. Arising thereby the newly merged ALSO-Actebis Group has become Europe's third-largest distribution and logistics company for information and communications technology and consumer electronics with a turnover of around 6.8 billion Euros in 2010 and more than 3,000 employees.
The ALSO-Actebis Holding AG is headquartered in Hergiswil (Switzerland) and has been listed on the Swiss stock exchange. The German based Droege Group holds a majoritiy interest.

ALSO-Actebis is active in twelve European countries and market leader in seven countries.
The wholesale group includes companies in Austria , Denmark , Estonia , Finland , France , Germany , Latvia , Lithuania , the Netherlands , Norway , Sweden and Switzerland .
Germany and the skandinavian contries trade under ALSO-Actebis, the other country organizations keep on trading under ALSO or Actebis for the moment.
